My two and three year old both love SpongeBob  SquarePants. If something has SpongeBob on it, they got to have it, no matter what it is. When my two year old doesn’t want to put his pajamas on, all I have to say is “I have your SpongeBob pajamas” and his attitude changes and he’s get excited to put them on. The same works for brushing his teeth. If he gets to use a fun cute toothbrush, he will ask to brush his teeth throughout the day. I can’t go wrong there! This is something I keep in mind when I am buying gifts and necessities for the little ones.

Now its time for the holiday shopping and each year, there are more and more toys and games that find their way under the Christmas tree. But when it comes to the stockings hanging on the fireplace, I tend to fill them with fun everyday items such as cute little books, bandages, a pair of socks, etc. One thing I always include in the kids’ stockings is a new toothbrush and toothpaste. It is important for me to make sure my kids don’t think presents are always toys and games. This year, I was trilled to find Colgate Holiday Packs for children that have Dora the Explorer or Spongebob Squarepants toothbrush and toothpaste together in one pack. These are a perfect fit for stockings!

At Walmart, I found the Colgate sets on an aisle end-cap. Each one includes a battery-powered toothbrush and toothpaste. I can’t wait for my kids to try the toothbrush. I am pretty sure it will intrigue them to brush their teeth immediately. I like that the battery-powered toothbrush has extra soft bristles on small oscillating head and easy on/off buttons.

When I got home the first thing I did was put the Colgate SpongeBob Packs in my top-secret, super-hidden box of stocking stuffers. I like to purchase small items throughout the year and stash them away. I am happy to say that the Colgate Packs are my last addition to the box and they are complete.

I also picked up a Dora Colgate Holiday Pack for my son’s best friend. She has recently became one of Dora’s biggest fans. While shopping, I also purchased other Dora branded products that promote good hygiene including shampoo/condition, body soap, hand soap, and hand sanitizer. It was easy to create a fun little Dora gift basket for her that she will just go crazy over. As a parent, I know her parents will also appreciate it because it includes all everyday items advocating a healthy living.  I can’t wait for the little ones to get their Colgate gifts!
