Recharging with an Ultimate Post-Activity Snack

This #GreatStarts tips post is sponsored by Kellogg’s. All opinions are my own.

As the kids keep growing (too quickly), the days seem to keep getting shorter. We have too much to do with not enough time. We are always coming or going or getting ready to do something or just losing track of time. It is seriously non-stop around here. With all the running around, sometimes I just need a second to take a break and recharge.

Hockey, Pizza, & Family – Game Time Fun

This game time & pizza post is part of a sponsored #GameTimeGoodies #cbias campaign for Collective Bias®. All opinions expressed are my own.

Theme night (or days) are always a hit in my house. We like to have movie nights, themed dinner parties, game nights, etc. For me, it’s more of an easy excuse to have some family time. No matter what we are gathering together for, food and family are always the common factors.

Managing to Eat Breakfast with No Time to Sit Down

This #GreatStarts tips post is sponsored by Kellogg’s. All opinions are my own.

My mornings focus on two things: feeding my kids and cleaning. While they eat, I do a quick clean up of anything that didn’t get taken care of the night before. After that we are busy doing activities and other household chores. Then around 9 -10am, almost daily, I find myself hungry. I forgot to eat something for breakfast. It can easily ruin my day.

We Booked our Family Weekend in Branson at Castle Rock Resorts

I am being provided with accommodations at Castle Rock to review, however I am not required to write this post and all opinions expressed are my own.

Castle Rock Resort & Waterpark

Since having three kids, we have yet to go on a family vacation. The main reason is trying to find the right family-friendly places that can make the stay comfortable for everyone. I am extremely excited that we finally booked our first trip with the kids for this May.

We didn’t want to travel extremely far, therefore Branson, MO was a good choice (traveling from St. Louis). The drive will be about four hours and then we will be staying at Castle Rock Resort & Waterpark for three days.

Castle Rock Resort offers a 30,000 square foot indoor waterpark and 10,000 square foot outdoor waterpark. They also have an on-site restaurant, a 24-hour arcade and gift shop, and day spa & salon. That seems like a little something for everyone.

I know the waterpark will be the kids’ favorite part, but the most attractive thing for me are the rooms. The one we will be staying in has a built in Kiddie Cove (6′x4′) with a bunk bed and its very own 19″ flat screen TV. Being the first time staying at a hotel, this will make the kids stay much easier and enjoyable.

There is still lots of planning I want to do, but I can’t wait for May to get here!

Quick Start Breakfast to get Extra Sleep on the Weekends

This #GreatStarts tips post is sponsored by Kellogg’s. All opinions are my own.

Some mornings, mainly on the weekends, I simply need a little more sleep. In an effort to sleep in occasionally, I put together breakfast the night before. Leaving portioned foods out for the kids to prepare is an easy, quick start breakfast that encourages independence.

Creating an Afternoon Routine for my Kids

This #GreatStarts tips post is sponsored by Kellogg’s. All opinions are my own.

Order and organization are two things that I obsess over. When I became a parent, I quickly fell in love with daily routines. Now with three little ones, those routines are necessary for keeping our days running smoothly. Without them, I would likely lose my mind.
