Potty Training Tips & Resources + My #PullUpsAcademy Experience

“I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pull-Ups Big Kid Academy. I received samples for this review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.”

Potty training is a journey that marks a huge milestone for toddlers and parents. As a mother of three, ages 5 and under, one would think potty training should be breeze. However, it definitely is not. I am down to one in diapers and even though I am ready for him to be potty trained, he still has other plans.

My 4-Year-Old’s Requested Disney Junior Personal Birthday Celebration

Celebrating my children’s birthdays often remind me of how quickly time goes by. My dearest middle child turned four earlier this month. We had a little party with a cake and gifts. However, he still had some birthday money from a relative that he surprising hadn’t spent yet. Little did I know, he wanted more than just a new toy when we finally went shopping.

A few days ago, a cold front swept across the Midwest leaving us with extreme Fall-like weather. We went from shorts and tees to hoodies, jackets and pants. The short tease of the Fall season leaves me wanting to go on hayrides and apple-picking more than ever.

When my friend, Ashley, and I get together with the kids, we like to have fun. She jumps at any excuse to have a themed party, dinner, or playdate. However most of the time, she doesn’t even need a reason (or lots of guests) to do so. I remember last year when her oldest started preschool, she had a huge school-themed layout complete with decorations, just for her 3-year-old’s breakfast.

Accidently Finding the Perfect Furniture Piece for Our Entryway

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Sauder. The opinions and text are all mine.

We have lived in our house for over two years and a couple areas still aren’t fully decorated, painted, or welcoming. One of those areas being the front entryway. I’ve had big dreams for the space. I envisioned my husband building a bench area with hooks and shelves for all the kids’ stuff. But recently, we came across what may be the perfect piece of furniture for the space.
