One Pan Black Forest Cake

A simple black forest cake made in just 1 pan.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate Cereal
  • 2 21oz cans Cherry Pie Filling
  • ¼ cup Maraschino Cherry Juice
  • 1 15.25oz box Devil's Food Cake Mix (unprepared)
  • ¾ cup Butter, melted
  • Toppings: Whipped cream, Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate Cereal, sliced almonds, maraschino cherries
Instructions
  1. Preheat over to 350°F.
  2. Grind 2 cups Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate Cereal into fine powder using a food processor.
  3. Lightly coat the bottom and sides of a 9x13" baking pan.
  4. Spread both cans of cherry pie filling in the bottom of the pan.
  5. Next add the the ground Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate Cereal.
  6. Drizzle the cherry juicy over the cereal.
  7. Evenly top with the dry, unprepared cake mix.
  8. Finish with the melted butter drizzled over the mix.
  9. Bake for 1 hour.
  10. Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
  11. Serve in a bowl topped with whipped cream, Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate Cereal, sliced almonds, and maraschino cherries.
