Hot Apple Pie Dip

An easy fall favorite with flavors of pumpkin, apples and walnuts.
Ingredients
  • 8oz reduced-fat cream cheese spread
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (can substitute with ground cinnamon)
  • 1 apple, chopped, divided
  • ¼ cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped pecans
  • WHEAT THINS Original Snacks (provide 10-21g of whole grains per serving)
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until well blended.
  3. Stir in half the apples.
  4. Spread mixture into a pie plate or small casserole dish.
  5. Top with remaining apples, cheddar and pecans.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until heated through.
  7. Serve warm with WHEAT THINS Snacks
