Skillet Turkey Chili
 
An easy skillet turkey chili for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
  • Grapeseed or olive oil
  • 1 cup diced white onion, divided
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp beau monde
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 diced red pepper
  • 1 diced yellow pepper
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • 2 diced sticks of celery
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 14 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans - 16 oz BUSH’S® Mild Kidney Chili Beans (or any BUSH’S® Chili Beans)
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, jalapenos, cilantro
Instructions
  1. Heat large deep skillet over medium heat
  2. Add 1 Tbsp oil and ½ cup of white onions. Cook for a few minutes, until onions are translucent
  3. Add ground turkey, beau monde, garlic salt, and pepper. Breakdown the ground turkey and cook until lightly brown. Once cooked, remove from pan and reserve in a bowl for later.
  4. In the same skillet, another Tbsp oil, diced peppers, celery, and last ½ cup onion. Simmer until tender.
  5. Mix in the cumin, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and BUSH’S® Chili Beans.
  6. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
  7. Serve with optional garnishes.
