1 tablespoon sriracha (1 tsp for less spice, up to 2 tbsp for more)
1 cup water
1 cup honey
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
To make the sauce, add the listed sauce ingredients to sauce pan. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, allowing the mixture to thicken. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store in refrigerator.
Combined sesame seed oil, diced white onions, minced garlic, ginger and sausage in a large skillet. Brown the sausage over medium heat, cooking until sausage is crumbled and no longer pink. Drain and put mixture into serving bowl.
Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Spray the skillet with cooking spray, and add a tortilla. Fry for about 30-60 seconds and flip, until each side is browned.
Fold warmed tortilla to make a taco and fill with sausage mixture. Top with shredded cabbage, red onions, chives and homemade sweet and spicy sauce.
