Last year was our first year experiencing organized sports with our little ones. Our oldest started with soccer and did a few sessions of t-ball. One of the first things that were discussed at practices, was signing up for post-game snacks. When my oldest started Kindergarten last year, I wasn’t prepared for a lot of things. One of those things happen to be birthday parties. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. From apple picking to walks on a chilly morning, the season really brings me joy. To get the full effect, putting up fall decorations around the house seemed fitting. Then, I was left to decide how to make the front porch inviting and give it a fall makeover.

A little fun fact you probably don’t know about me: My husband and I first met playing poker. We use to play weekly at the same tournaments, often finding ourselves going head-to-head in games. It was always a good time and I guess I can credit poker for helping us cross paths.
