Holiday decor is a must for me. I like to fill shelves and the mantle with festive decor, a banner, and artwork. It gets the kids excited and gives them something to look forward to. Sometimes when I feel like I need more, I create a DIY or make a simple print to be framed. This 5×7 Easter Subway Art adds a nice pop of color to a white frame.
March has FLOWN by so quickly in chaos that I have a hard time believing it is almost over. The weather is starting to warm up and I am beginning to see signs of spring all around. I’m scrabbling to make last minute plans with the family to have Easter lunch with an egg hunt at our house this weekend.
I quickly realized I haven’t even brought up the Easter totes out of basement.
There has been no fresh decor added to the house this month. None! No spring decorations. No Easter decorations. Nothing.
How have I forgotten? Have I been so busy I haven’t looked around the house to notice? At least I still think about it when I’m out shopping. I recently snagged a few new bunny pieces including a cute little candy dish. I can’t go wrong with bunnies and candy in my house.
Then a few weeks ago I found an empty 5×7 picture frame in a box. I can’t even remember why I purchased it. Does that only happen to me?
All of the picture frames that are around our house are black with a white matte, so I have decided it would be a great Easter or spring frame to go with other seasonal decor. I couldn’t find a picture that was fitting, so I decided to make a little ‘Happy Easter’ subway art print. I have included the free 5×7 printable below so you can print one, too.
Now I just need to bring the Easter & spring totes out of the basement this afternoon before it’s too late to display any of it.
