A nice dinner, such as a Valentine’s Day dinner, doesn’t always have to be at a restaurant or cost a fortune. It can also be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. Since Valentine’s Day is on a week day this year, it may not be feasible to make it to dinner reservations or spend hours cooking a homemade meal. With three little ones running around all day, I know I won’t have time to make an extravagant meal, but Whole Foods Market has some new great frozen product lines that are perfect for an intimate Valentine’s Day meal.

If you are unfamiliar with Whole Foods Market, they sell the highest quality natural and organic products available. Along with all their products they sell, they have their own Whole Foods Market product line with exotic flavors to expand your culinary vocabulary. Some quick and easy dinner options can be found in their frozen food aisle. Here are some that I picked up.

  • Whole Foods Market Wood-Fired Italian Pizzas – Buffalo Mozzarella with Cherry Tomatoes. A great start to a pasta dinner, the Wood-Fired Pizzas are the real deal made in Italy. The crust is thin and crispy and it’s hard to believe that it is a frozen pizza.
  • Whole Foods Market Frozen Italian Entrees – Fettuccine Alfredo con Funghi and Gnocchi di Polenta with Peas & Kale. I love that I can have an Italian meal ready in under ten minutes. Also made in Italy, the flavor and texture is unbeatable.
  • Whole Foods Market Frozen Desserts – Dinner isn’t complete without dessert. I picked up some Chocolate Lava Cakes and Chocolate Chip Lava Cookies. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted so I just got both. Each package contains two and is ready to eat within minutes.
  • Whole Foods Market Chocolates – I love the gift of chocolate. The heart-shaped Assorted Premium Belgium Chocolates include 14 different delicious pieces.

They also have a very nice select of wines. I can’t go to Whole Foods Market without picking out a bottle that I have never tried before. I love trying new things! So if you still need to make Valentine’s Day plans or are planning on staying in, Foods Market can help make the night perfect. You can surprise your loved one with an Italian meal without spending a ton of money, time, and you can avoid the crowds. Visit their site to find a location near you, recipes, and information about their products.
