Keeping a full schedule and overflowing ‘To-Do’ list seems to be my norm. There’s so much to keep up with daily and no matter what I have going on, I try to get an early start on the day. In turn, by the afternoon I tend to hit a midday slump.

Empower – A Word for 2016

As the first month of 2016 just came to an end, many are chattering about their resolutions failing, succeeding, changing, and/or coming together. However, I am not one to make resolutions at the beginning of the year. I am a list-maker. A goal maker. I always have an ongoing list of goals, long-term and short-term.

A Fresh Start Each Morning

Today I am sharing how I get a fresh start each morning as part of a sponsored post by NESTLE Coffee-mate. All opinions are my own.

Mornings haven’t always been my thing. There are still some days I wake up and think, “not today”, I am not a morning person. However, the last year or so I have discovered that with each morning and each start to the day, good things can come. Ensuring a fresh start daily is important.

Managing to Eat Breakfast with No Time to Sit Down

This #GreatStarts tips post is sponsored by Kellogg’s. All opinions are my own.

My mornings focus on two things: feeding my kids and cleaning. While they eat, I do a quick clean up of anything that didn’t get taken care of the night before. After that we are busy doing activities and other household chores. Then around 9 -10am, almost daily, I find myself hungry. I forgot to eat something for breakfast. It can easily ruin my day.
