The last month has taken a toll on me. I have been busy and got behind on a lot of different things. I am working hard this week to turn that around and get things back on track. It’s the holiday season and I don’t have time to be unorganized or let the stress get to me. It’s time I sit down and work out a plan.
This week my three year old finally got his cast off. It has been a month since he broke his leg and hasn’t been able to walk. It has been a challenge for us and I think he handled the situation, as a whole, much better than I did. He has to wear a brace for a few weeks, but he can walk again. Our daily routines started getting back normal and everything fell back in place.
Yesterday afternoon, I decided I needed to refocus and get back on track with all the other aspects in my life. At nap time, I unburied my planner and laid out some list pads to get started. I needed a refreshing drink to complete the set, and as you know, I almost always go for coffee. This time all I wanted was Green Mountain Coffee®’s new Espresso Roast Iced Latte.
The moment I opened the ready-to-drink treat, I immediately discovered an amazing espresso aroma. It was enough to make me feel like I was in a coffee shop getting ready to sip a $6 gourmet latte. I poured me a glass over ice, with the hopes it would give me the momentum to get my schedule and lists complete.
The delicious, thick, creamy mocha latte was just what I needed. After my first glass, I added some whipped cream and chocolate syrup for an added treat. By the time I was done sipping on that, I had a few ‘to-do’ lists written out and my schedule for the next couple weeks planned. I felt accomplished and got to work on my household chores. The momentum stayed with me into the evening. Lets hope I can keep it going.
Green Mountain Coffee® Roast Espresso Iced Latte is available in Mocha and Vanilla flavors. They can be found in the refrigerated dairy section of select grocery stores so be on the look out. Be sure to print this $1.00 off coupon to save on your next purchase.
