Story time can be a pretty big deal in my house. My boys want me to read to them throughout the whole day. I can’t complain about it. I just need to make sure we frequently add new books to our collection. The most recent book addition is a family favorite: Peppa Pig and the Muddy Puddles.

Who doesn’t like a little bling? Before I had three kids, I wore a lot of jewelry. I frequently sported clusters of bracelets, shiny rings, statement necklaces and fun earrings. Even when I went out in sweats, I would always have on a pair of earrings to match. Drop earrings is definitely my favorite piece of jewelry.
Getting my kids to do simple routine things each day can be a task. It can be a struggle just to get them to change out of their pajamas some mornings. Then there is brushing their teeth. During the warm summer months, not only do we grill often, but I also enjoy making lots of summer desserts. Some of my favorites involve lots of fruits and ice cream. When I saw Gail Simmons recipe for Bumbleberry Summer Sundae, I knew we had to try it.
Too much to do and not enough hours in the day. Isn’t it always like that? It’s like, for every task I cross off my ‘To Do’ list, I add two more. It simply never ends. I’ve decided to accept the fact that I’ll never be ‘caught up’ but I am working daily to get there as close as possible. To do so, I am becoming more efficient with my tasks and ‘To Do’ lists.
I can’t believe Father’s Day is already this weekend. This year has been flying by, filled with projects, activities, family fun, and lots of work. When life is so hectic, it’s easy to forget the simple things to share appreciation or to just relax and enjoy some time with loved ones.
