Coffee has always been one of my favorite beverages. Not a day goes by where I don’t enjoy at least one cup. When I think of coffee, I always think of Starbucks. If I am out running errands, I cannot resist driving through a Starbucks drive-thru for a fresh cup of deliciousness. When it comes to drinking coffee at home, I still can depend on Starbucks to get me through the day.
The month of March brings a lot of great things around my house. My husband gets a year older, spring begins, barbecues start back up and college basketball tournaments are always on. We like to host gatherings at our house almost weekly to watch games, barbecue, snack, play cards and relax. Sometimes our gatherings aren’t planned and end up being last minute with people showing up at the house with little notice. For that reason, I always keep easy snack foods in stock, especially chips.
When you think of the brand Green Giant, what do you think of? The first thing that comes to my mind is vegetables and side dishes. But Green Giant has a very giant surprise. They have a new product that is unlike their other product lines. It is a delicious healthy snack made with vegetables but you won’t find in the vegetable or frozen food aisles. Last month was pretty rough for my kids and I, as it was filled with fevers, runny noses, ear infections, coughing and RSV. It seemed just as one of them would start feeling better, another would get sick and they just passed it back and forth between the three of them. With my little guys, I am always cautious about giving them medicine and try to avoid it as much as possible. Every time I go to the store for medicine, it’s hard to pick what would be best with half an aisle and at least five shelves dedicated for children products. When it comes to trucks and cars, my kids can’t get enough of them. Between all three boys, they have more things with wheels than I knew could exist in one house. And just when I think they have just about everything, Toy State never fails to surprise me. They have hundreds of vehicles with unique features that can create hours of entertainment for both kids and adults alike. We moved into our house just over a year ago. I thought that starting with all white walls and a blank slate would make decorating the house easier. Well, I was wrong. More wrong that I ever thought I would be. We purchased all new furniture and painted the living room almost immediately. It still took us a few months to start hanging pictures and decor on the walls. Next we painted the laundry room and then it took almost a year to decide on a paint color for the kitchen (we still have yet to agree on back splash tiles). Last week we finally painted the dining room and hung up some artwork (my favorite room so far because we painted it dark red with a wine theme). So on the main floor, that leaves the office and the entryway. I have been really trying to kick it in high gear to get the office project started because I work on the computer every day, so I want the room to be inviting and inspiring. It is also the first room you see when you come into our house.
