Easy Skillet Turkey Chili - Weeknight Dinner Idea

Weekly meal planning has become more important than ever. I started a new job a few weeks ago, working on-site, so my typical routines have been shaken up. Instead of being about to start prepping dinner in the afternoon, I can’t start working on it until after I pick the kids up from school.

This is a huge change for me. And to be honest, the first couple weeks ended up with quite a few nights of eating out. Obviously, I am still working on the transition, but it is getting better. The biggest help is being more diligent with my planning. The weekend has to include making that meal plan and getting to the store to buy everything.

It also means stocking up on pantry staples, like BUSH’S® Chili Beans. At least once a month, no matter the season, chili is on the menu around here. I love making chili, just as much as I love eating it. All the flavors coming together as it cooks, yum. Beans are always a key ingredient in any chili I make. The thing with BUSH’S Chili Beans is they are already slow-simmered in their original chili sauces made with a special blend of chilies, spices, garlic, and onions.

Starting any chili with high-quality ingredients is the key to success, and I can always count on the hearty flavor of BUSH’S Chili Beans.

On the menu board for this week is this easy Skillet Turkey Chili recipe. It is a quick chili recipe, that has the flavor of cooking all day long, perfect for any night of the week.

Mix in the cumin, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and BUSH’S® Chili Beans. I used BUSH’S® Mild Kidney Chili Beans, but they have a lot of variations and flavors to choose from whether you prefer pinto, kidney, black, white, red or mixed beans, mild, medium or hot sauce.
