There are days that I am amazed at how fast my three year old is growing up. I am even more amazed at how eager he is to learn new facts or try unfamiliar things. Every single day, he pushes me to challenge him. As I try my best to come up with new activities or games, there are days when I don’t have much time and it is more convenient to have kit or two around the house.

It’s no secret that my sons like to watch cartoons. The Disney Jr. channel is a favorite and the show they ask for the most is Octonauts. My three year old loves all the underwater creatures and how Barnacles, Kwazii, & the other Octonauts crew always save the day. When I learned about the Fisher Price toy line, I couldn’t wait to bring the Octonauts into my home for the boys.
Last month was pretty rough for my kids and I, as it was filled with fevers, runny noses, ear infections, coughing and RSV. It seemed just as one of them would start feeling better, another would get sick and they just passed it back and forth between the three of them. With my little guys, I am always cautious about giving them medicine and try to avoid it as much as possible. Every time I go to the store for medicine, it’s hard to pick what would be best with half an aisle and at least five shelves dedicated for children products. One brand I have always trusted is Little Remedies.
When it comes to trucks and cars, my kids can’t get enough of them. Between all three boys, they have more things with wheels than I knew could exist in one house. And just when I think they have just about everything, Toy State never fails to surprise me. They have hundreds of vehicles with unique features that can create hours of entertainment for both kids and adults alike. Their Road Rippers collection now has Monster Trucks to add their product line.
My three year old is growing into a young little man too fast and is extremely eager to learn new things all the time. His imagination and creativity has exploded the last few months and I am doing everything I can to encourage it. Sometimes it is difficult for me to get quality time with him. However, when my younger two sons manage to take their afternoon nap at the same time, I get some one-on-one time with Ethan. As a busy Mom of three, I don’t always have time to put together new, fun educational projects and that is where BabbaBox comes in.

If there was one store I wish we had in St. Louis, it is definitely an IKEA store. They have so many unique products and gifts at amazing prices. I could literally spend hours browsing their store online finding new fun products. During the holiday season, one of their hottest items are their soft toys. They offer countless different soft toys starting at just $0.49. This year, they have made their way onto Nifty Mom’s Holiday Gift Guide for obvious reasons.
We have been enjoying non-stop play with a soccer ball, TORVA Carrot and a basket of veggies. I fell in love with each of them immediately and my kids love playing with them all. The soccer ball is perfect for my 2 & 3 year old sons. When they see a ball, any ball, they HAVE to throw it. No matter what. Well with the soft toy, they can do it without breaking anything or hurting anyone. A huge plus for me!
As the boys pulled veggies out of the basket, we played a ‘What’s That’ game with them naming each one out loud: carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, garlic, mushrooms and peas. These are great toys to play pretend and for healthy food education. I like to get them out when I am making dinner and let them ‘help’ me and make dinner as well. The large carrot is part of the TORVA soft toy collection. Even though I love all the soft toys, this one is my favorite. It is extremely soft, huggable and as big as my 10 month old. He just adores it. These are high quality soft toys, tested to prove durability and to withstand rough play by my sons!

Last year, they were able to donate €12.4 million! That’s amazing! I love a great company that gives back.

The first thing I noticed after receiving the book is the quality. It is very well made with a hard cover and heavy-duty pages, perfect for any preschooler.
