‘Fun with Froot Loops’ Activity Sheets for Preschoolers

I am always trying to find ways to sneak some learning into everyday activities. With two preschoolers, they find it fun and we often do it while getting two things done at once. This can be as simple as making snack time a learning time as well. For some snack time fun,  I created some new activity sheets just for Froot Loops.

Dry cereal is a favorite snack with my little ones. One day when they were eating Froot Loops, my three year old started sorting them by color and counting how many of each one he had. That’s when I had the idea to make some activity sheets. The cereal is the perfect size to use for counting, and it includes all the colors of the rainbow.

Laminating Activity Sheets

I created four different sheets: Complete the Patterns, Color Sorting, Count to Ten, and Fill in the Rainbow. You can download each one below to print and use for your little ones too. Since I was planning on using them multiple times, I used my laminator to make the sheets last longer. If you don’t have one, don’t worry! Print multiple copies and keep them on hand.

My older two, ages three and four, enjoy playing with the sheets so much that they often forget they are using food to play. These can also be used when guests are over to keep the kids occupied after dinner. I have added the activity sheets to our Kitchen Busy Kits (post coming next week) to easily access during our afternoon routine or as needed.
