Every single day is full of surprises. With three little ones, there is never a calm or dull moment. I always have to be on my game and be ready for whatever the day (or toddler) throws at me. The secret to a successful day, is a great start. I need each day to start out strong for the sake of the whole family.

That’s why I’m excited to announce that Kellogg’s and I are teaming up this winter: to ensure we all get off to great starts when we need them most. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing tips from Team Kellogg’s and how I use these valuable pieces of advice in my household to make the days run smoother.

One of the tips included will be a sleep in tip from a fellow mom. The video below shows how preparing breakfast the night before can save time in the morning, allowing for some time to sleep in. I like to do this on the weekends and will share more on how it also benefits the kids in a few weeks. I can’t wait to share all the great tips with you!

Great tip. I am working on getting my kids to be more independent. I used to do everything for them. I am backing off on that.

I love this idea. There’s nothing like being prepared in advance to make the week smoother. I’ve even put salad in to-go and grab cups before.

I like this tip, and it is one I try to do. I am not a morning person, so I try to do everything I can the night before — no matter how tired I am. Because come the morning rush not only will I still be tired, but I will be stressed too!

So important to start the day off on a good foot! We have such busy schedules and Kelloggs is a great way to start the day off with enough energy to get stuff done!
