Recipes that take little prep are great for weeknights, including desserts. This Black Forest Cake is just that; a one pan, little prep recipe full of chocolate and cherries that can be a wonderful dessert anytime of the week.
It’s really heating up outside. It’s supposed to be around 100 all weekend here. 100 DEGREES! I really feel like we didn’t even get spring weather. It simply jumped from winter to summer. I am not exactly a big fan of extremely hot temperatures.
When it is really warm, I do prefer to make desserts that can be topped with ice cream. Yes, I would totally add some ice cream onto each bowl of Black Forest Cake.
A few months ago I shared an Easy Chocolate-Coconut Macaroons Recipe. The recipe was using Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate cereal. While I worked with them on that post, they also shared with me this One Pan Black Forest Cake. Since it is a pretty easy recipe, I wanted to make sure I shared it with you guys as well.
