Casual Brunch with the Girls

 This casual brunch post is sponsored by Kellogg’s. All opinions are my own.

Boys. I’m outnumbered just about every day by boys. Before I knew I was going to have three kids, I never thought I’d be the only girl in the house (besides the dog). Most of my family members outside of the home are also males. Since I work from home, I don’t have co-workers to interact with face-to-face each day. So there aren’t many times I get to have ‘girly’ moments.

Goodbye Germs. Hello Fresh.

“I’m sharing cold and flu season tips & a gift featuring Zep as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. All opinions are my own. #ZepSocialstars

When it comes to the cold & flu season, this winter has been a rough one. Actually, rough is putting it mildly. Up until this year, we were pretty fortunate. The kids barely got sick and we had few visits to the doctor’s office. So what changed?

Easy Tropical Coconut Smoothie {with Simply Tropical}

This Tropical Coconut Smoothie post is sponsored by Simply Beverages, but all opinions expressed are my own and are unbiased and based on my personal views.

Here in the wonderful Midwest, it’s been cold, snowy, and just plain dreary. I can’t express enough how much I am ready for warmer weather. I could really use a vacation to a beach, but I will settle with flip-flop weather here.

Chocolate + Crackers + Fruit = I’m Planning a Girl’s Brunch

 This brunch inspiration post is sponsored by Kellogg’s. All opinions are my own.

Three of my favorite snack foods: chocolate, crackers, and fruits. I love pairing sweet and salty all into one bite or treat. I try not to keep too many chocolates around the house, because they don’t last long. However, I do keep chocolate wafers to use for treats and I always have plenty of fruit and cracker varieties.

More recently than before, I have been struggling with getting dinner on the table. I have had a hard time managing my time around the house and preparing for it. For that reason I am always in need of quick and easy meals that take less than thirty minutes and have few ingredients. Meals that allow me to use products I keep in on hand.

Heart-Shaped Vanilla Waffles with Strawberry Sauce

“I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Holstein Housewares. I received product samples to facilitate this post well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”

With three little ones, I have learned that making food and meals into fun shapes is always a win. It’s not always easy though. It can become time-consuming and difficult at times. I don’t have time to try to make everything into different and fun shapes, especially when I have three kids that are always (in their words) ‘so hungry’.
