I know I say it often, but for me, cleaning isn’t all that bad. I enjoy organizing, keeping things put away, and managing my house so it looks it’s best. But then there are times when life happens. Those unexpected things that jump out at us and send our daily routines awry.
No matter what holiday is around the corner, the kids enjoy making things they can give to their dad and grandparents. I always try to give them crafts and activities they can do mostly on their own and take pride in their gifts and creations.

As we enter into February, I have to admit I am still working on re-organizing my home office. Each January I move the previous year’s receipts and statements to a few categorized binders and store them in the basement. However, there are a few that binders that are important and have to stay on my desk.

Over the last year, my boys have seemed to collect more LEGO bricks than I ever could imagine. Since they are only 3, 4, & 5, I know that collection will continue to grow for years and years to come. I don’t mind though. My husband built a custom table for them to play on and we have plenty of LEGO brick storage.

Goals are important to me. Goals of all shapes and sizes. Yes, I love having big goals, but at times, they can be a little overwhelming. Then there are the little ones. The ones that are just baby steps leading to a larger goal. More often than not, they are even more important.
