I am always trying to find ways to sneak some learning into everyday activities. With two preschoolers, they find it fun and we often do it while getting two things done at once. This can be as simple as making snack time a learning time as well. For some snack time fun, I created some new activity sheets just for Froot Loops.

Order and organization are two things that I obsess over. When I became a parent, I quickly fell in love with daily routines. Now with three little ones, those routines are necessary for keeping our days running smoothly. Without them, I would likely lose my mind.
Appetizers are often my favorite part of a dinner party or get-together. There’s something about little finger foods that can easily fill my plate. They get me every time. One of my all-time favorites are these simple sausage and cream cheese stuffed mushrooms.

Every single day is full of surprises. With three little ones, there is never a calm or dull moment. I always have to be on my game and be ready for whatever the day (or toddler) throws at me. The secret to a successful day, is a great start. I need each day to start out strong for the sake of the whole family.
That’s why I’m excited to announce that Kellogg’s and I are teaming up this winter: to ensure we all get off to great starts when we need them most. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing tips from Team Kellogg’s and how I use these valuable pieces of advice in my household to make the days run smoother.
One of the tips included will be a sleep in tip from a fellow mom. The video below shows how preparing breakfast the night before can save time in the morning, allowing for some time to sleep in. I like to do this on the weekends and will share more on how it also benefits the kids in a few weeks. I can’t wait to share all the great tips with you!

The last month has been filled with continuous shopping. I spent a lot of time shopping online and running around town trying to find to perfect gifts for my kids, family, and friends. Since all that is finally over, I think it is time to shop for me and treat myself to a nice little gift or two. Moms are allowed to do that, right?

I enjoy baking and making treats for friends and family. Not only is it fun, but the baking process is also a great activity to do with the little ones. They love helping mix ingredients, but more importantly, testing the food. Baking with chocolate and candies are their preferences in the kitchen.
