We have lived in our house for over two years and a couple areas still aren’t fully decorated, painted, or welcoming. One of those areas being the front entryway. I’ve had big dreams for the space. I envisioned my husband building a bench area with hooks and shelves for all the kids’ stuff. But recently, we came across what may be the perfect piece of furniture for the space.
Happy (late) Friday! I am writting this a lot later than I hoped to, but I wanted to get it up since I haven’t had much time to do one in a few weeks. Things have been extra hectic and it seems like every Friday this month has not gone as planned. I am holding my head up high though, as we end the month and get ready for a big September.

For the majority of my life, I have always had a dog by my side. One that is not only a pet, but also a member of the family. I will never forget my first dog, as a kid, Corki. I’m excited to say that we have survived two weeks of school. Ethan loves Kindergarten, he hasn’t been late (yet) and I haven’t forgotten to pick him up! That is all an accomplishment in it’s own. But there is one thing I am still having a hard time with… weeknight dinners.

5 years ago, right after I became a mom, I knew my life would never have slow or boring moments again. I realized my days would consistently be filled and my ‘to-do’ lists would be never-ending. Parenthood and adulthood can come with rough days, be frustrating, and downright stressful. I’m not alone here, right? There is always so much going on. We are trying to be at five places at once.
