In the middle of last week, I told my husband “I need a date night.” I really needed a good adult conversation and just a little time without one or two kids saying “Mom! Mom? MOMMY!” every few minutes while a toddler pulls at my arms to pick him up. We really don’t get to go out that often and it’s pretty obvious. After I told my husband, he replied that he was talking to my Dad the previous night and my Dad mentioned that we hadn’t went out in awhile and offer to watch the kids one evening. “Think of some things you want to do besides just go to dinner, ” says my husband…
I have been spending the last week starting my spring cleaning routine throughout my house. This weekend was extremely nice outside, so while my husband did some yard work, I took spring cleaning to our vehicles, as well as my Mom’s. The cars needed cleaned out, washed and freshened up. A new part of our car spring cleaning routine includes changing the cabin air filter.

Now that the weather is starting to warm up, I have finally been in the mood to do some deep spring cleaning. Call me crazy, but I love deep cleaning and I really love organization and order. With that being said, I am embarrassed to admit my lack of organization in some areas in my house. We moved in over a year ago and there are still a few areas that need a lot of attention.

My youngest son just turned one in January. After having three children extremely close together, for the first time in years I have finally felt a surge of motivation. I am ready to get in shape again and my interest in health and fitness products and programs has spiked. My ‘go-to’ retailer to purchase wellness products has always been Walgreens. I am guilty of skipping breakfast or lunch some days. Normally, I am frantically making my kids meals and while they are eating, I take that time to switch the dishes out of the dishwasher and clean up the kitchen. Then, within an hour or two, my stomach expresses it’s dissatisfaction with my poor eating habits and I just grab a quick little snack. That snack isn’t always a healthy choice. As I have been trying to change my eating my eating habits and decrease my junk food intake, I find myself trying to find a sweet taste with less of the guilt.

Lately, I have been trying to focus more on my health. I have been trying to eat better, take vitamins, and workout. Every time I start to do some research and read about different products, I just get overwhelmed.
