Interactive Fun for Kid’s Teeth Brushing

“Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Philips Sonicare through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Philips Sonicare for Kids, all opinions are my own.”

As you may have noticed by now, I am pretty big on routines and schedules. My kids know at what time we eat lunch, have quiet time, start bedtime routines, etc. Some routines are definitely more enjoyable for all of us. A few of the kids’ routines need more assistance and persuasion than others.

School’s been in session for a month now. Well, for my oldest at least. 1st grade has been just as awesome as Kindergarten and we have finally gotten back into the groove of school day routines. Most mornings are filled with running around trying to get the kids ready, fed and packing a lunch for Ethan to take to school.

Encouraging Kids to Read & Building Your Home Library

This reading challenge post has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #Back2SchoolReady #CollectiveBias

One thing we started doing more this summer was going to the local library. I was always hesitant to take the boys, since they are younger and have a hard time keeping their voices down. I found out that our library has a section just for kids with a play area and they offer a children’s summer reading program. The program just ended last week, but I decided to do more at home to encourage the kids to read and build our personal library.

5 Reasons to Cook with Kids + Vanilla Mini Donuts Recipe

“I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Holstein Housewares. I received product samples to facilitate this post well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”

Cooking for a family of 5 (which includes 3 growing boys) means spending a lot of time in the kitchen. It means coming up with fun family-friendly meals and desserts for all to enjoy. It also means trying to get the food on the table in a timely fashion because the kids are always hungry and it always “takes forever” to make. One way to eliminate all this is getting the kids to help out in the kitchen.
