A Summer of ‘Firsts’ + First Aid with Puracyn OTC Wound & Skin Care

This is a product-provided, sponsored conversation that contains affiliate links. I received one 4 oz. spray bottle of Puracyn® OTC Wound & Skin Care and a branded first aid kit. All opinions, text and experiences are my own.

This summer has been flying by! July is already almost over and soon school will be starting. Before we start talking back-to-school already, I am still thinking about all the fun we have had so far this summer. It has been pretty eventful with lots of fun-loving moments with my boys.

It’s a Fab Five Friday! July 18th Edition

Who’s excited it’s Friday?

I am just glad this week is about over. It was slightly derailed (I’ll get to that at the end of the post) early on, making it a tough week. Since last Friday, most the memorable moments happened over the weekend into Monday.

Here’s a look back at this week’s happenings (mainly revolving around the little ones, again):

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Downtown St. Louis

This is a sponsored post about Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. All opinions are my own.

When my husband and I get a chance to have  date night, it always involves a nice dinner, typically at a steakhouse. It’s a good way to wind down, chat, and have some time kid-free. Last week I was invited to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Downtown St. Louis with ALIVE Magazine to sample some delicious food and mingle.

Silk Protein+Fiber Almondmilk & a Fruit Salad Recipe

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Silk. The opinions and text are all mine.

As I try to lead a healthy lifestyle, some days it seems difficult. Those days that my ‘To Do’ list is over a page long and I am multitasking every second I get. Yes, that is often, and trying to stay on track with my health and what I consume isn’t always easy.

Patriotic Cake Push Pops + Hamilton Beach Mixers

This patriotic cake push pop recipe was created while trying out Hamilton Beach Stand & Hand Mixers as a Hamilton Beach Ambassador. All opinions are my own.

I love baking. Not only is the taste important, but I like to put a little extra effort into the presentation. Desserts can easily be given a little added touch to go with any occasion, making them extremely fun for everyone. With July 4th tomorrow, I thought some patriotic push pops would be a huge hit with the little ones.

Our First Family Vacation to the Beach & How We Kept Cool

During our first family vacation to the beach, we stayed cool with Capri Sun as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. All opinions are 100% my own. #CapriSunMomFactor

When we decided it was time for a family vacation to the beach, we weren’t too sure what we were getting ourselves into. Were we completely insane to drive 14 hours with three kids just so they can experience the sand in their toes and the salty ocean waves? How would they handle all that heat?
