Pick-Pack-Play: Supporting the Local St. Louis Community

I attended a local Pick-Pack-Play event as a Let’s Play ambassador. Even though I am being compensated for my ambassadorship, I fully believe in the initiative. All opinions are my own.

You should know by now, getting outside and keeping the kids active has always been a priority of mine. I am excited to finally announce I am a Let’s Play Ambassador for 2016. Let’s Play is an initiative by Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) to provide kids and families with the tools, places and inspiration to make active play a daily priority.

Fresh Thyme Farmer’s Market in the St. Louis Area

I covered the Grand Opening of Fresh Thyme in O’Fallon, MO and am excited to be sharing the details today in this sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

Earlier this summer I found out a Fresh Thyme was being built about 10 minutes from me. 10 MINUTES! I can’t express our excitement and anticipation leading up to the opening.  The thing is, we don’t have a similar store in our area.

STL Living: A Modern Home Tour & Tasting on 10/24

We had our home built almost four years ago, which really isn’t that long ago. Home improvement should be the last thing on my mind, right? Well, that’s just not the case. There is just something about remodeling that really sparks my interest. I am always on the lookout for inspiration and ideas to finish the basement or remodel the kitchen (and/or every other room in my house). That is one reason I am excited to be co-hosting this amazing event on Saturday!

Help Support Operation Food Search & “You Share. We Share.” Campaign

Today I am sharing some great information about Operation Food Search and their efforts to help heal the hurt of hunger in the St. Louis metro area. Thank you to SocialMoms and SUBWAY® Restaurants for sponsoring this important message to help our local community.

Raising kids that give back to their community is becoming more and more important to me each year. I can tell it is starting to get instilled into their minds by acts of kindness they are initiating on their own. Last week my husband came home from grocery shopping with my four-year-old (which doesn’t happen often). He was impressed that Chase noticed and insisted on purchasing the prepackaged bags available to purchase for donation. Proud mom moment for me.

That 80’s Run 2015 Recap

As usual, things are pretty hectic around here and I realized I never shared my recap from That 80’s Run last month. The event hosted by St. Charles Community College was the first 5k race I had on my schedule this year, so I was pretty pumped leading up to it.
